Fela Anikulapo Kuti or simply Fela is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, musician, composer, pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre, human rights activist, and political maverick.

 

This classic 3.0 is our 3rd version of upgrade from the Fela Kuti collection released in 2016 with a lighter, improved non-slip outsole and more flexible vegan leather upper.

In 1964, living the dream of their freshly gained independence, Zambia started a space program that would put the first African on the moon, catching up with the USA and the Soviet Union in the space race.

 

Only a few optimists supported the project by Edward Makuka Nkoloso. Financial aid never came and a 16 year old astronaut, Martha got pregnant. That is how the heroic initiative turned into an exotic episode of the African history.

Our photographic adaption is from the works of Cristina de Middel, a Spanish documentary photographer and artist.
