In 1964, living the dream of their freshly gained independence, Zambia started a space program that would put the first African on the moon, catching up with the USA and the Soviet Union in the space race.
Only a few optimists supported the project by Edward Makuka Nkoloso. Financial aid never came and a 16 year old astronaut, Martha got pregnant. That is how the heroic initiative turned into an exotic episode of the African history.
Our photographic adaption is from the works of Cristina de Middel, a Spanish documentary photographer and artist.
We are excited to introduce the KEEXS active lifestyle sneakers. We have created a design that is versatile and extends beyond the gym or morning run. It is a must have fashion accessory which will look great any time of year with various outfits.
Our design takes inspiration from our KEEXS Classic Black Pride of our Fela Kuti Collection released in 2016 and Ijinle slip-on from the IBILE Collection released in 2017.
